At TruMark Financial, our dedicated members of the Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee play a crucial role in overseeing our operations, ensuring we act in the best interest of our members and stay true to our core purpose of helping members reach their financial well-being.

We need your help
TruMark Financial is seeking volunteers to serve as Supervisory Committee Members and Alternates to the Supervisory Committee. If you’re unsure whether you’re ready to take on the role, don’t worry. If you are willing to apply your relevant professional expertise as a volunteer, you’ll receive support from experienced Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee members, as well as the credit union team, to develop any additional skills you may need.

Supervisory Committee Members and Alternates to the Supervisory Committee
The Supervisory Committee provides reasonable assurance that financial disclosures made by TruMark Financial Credit Union management reasonably portray the credit union’s financial condition and results of operation. Committee members oversee the external audit coverage including the selection of the independent public accounting firm. The Supervisory Committee provides assurance that the credit union is in reasonable compliance with pertinent laws and regulations, is conducting its affairs ethically, and is maintaining effective controls against employee conflict of interest and fraud.

Eligibility requirements:

• Commitment to the mission and vision of TruMark Financial Credit Union
• Possess expertise in financial accounting, auditing, reporting, legal, risk management, marketing, or other business experience
• Willing and able to attend Supervisory Committee, Board of Director, and credit union meetings and actively participate in the committee process
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be bondable
• Must not be a current employee of the credit union
